"Share yourself in ways that impact others." -Baron Baptiste
I PRACTICE BECAUSE: Yoga allows me a glimpse into the best version of myself. My practice has shown me anything is possible, at any age. Yoga has allowed me to believe in being up to something so much bigger than myself.
I TEACH BECAUSE: I love creating community. I love watching people explore what is possible for them beyond the work of the pose. I teach because it is an opportunity for me to serve, to cause leaders to find their voice, and to create transformation in people's day to day lives.

TRAINING / CERTIFICATIONS: E-RYT 200 Hour, Baptiste Certified Teacher, Africa Yoga Project Mentor & AYP 200 Hour TT Team Lead
I PRACTICE BECAUSE: I am a happier human when I practice. Through my practice I have strengthened my relationships, reduced anxiety, created positive health/body awareness and live an overall more mindful life.
THREE WORDS TO DESCRIBE ME: Energetic, Committed, Adventurous
TEACHING STYLE: Co-creation is key! I am a student of the practice both on my mat and in front of the room. My goal is to create a space where everyone feels great in their own skin, just the way they are...preferably smiling and sweaty.

I TEACH BECAUSE: I can’t imagine my life without the physical and mental challenges that yoga offers. I discovered the benefits of yoga just a few years ago and have been obsessed with the study of all of the elements of the practice. The philosophy has provided an awakening to my response to life through the awareness to thoughts and presence of mind.
THREE WORDS TO DESCRIBE ME: Passionate, Positive, Authentic
TEACHING STYLE: I enjoy teaching alignment and believe that the pace of a class does not dictate the difficulty. I love exploring balance and enjoy when students have requests for specific things that they are working on. The culture that 90 North has created in a short period of time has been energizing to me. It is rewarding as a teacher to witness the growth and development of the students in their practice as well as a commUNITY!
TRAINING / CERTIFICATIONS: 200 Hour RYT w/Kacee Must
I PRACTICE BECAUSE: I have found a great sense of mental and physical stress relief after continuing my practice on a regular basis. Aches and pains that showed up regularly prior to my discovery of yoga diminishes as well as difficult breathing issues caused by asthma. I am a happier, and more content person with a regular practice allowing for growth both on and off my mat.
THREE WORDS TO DESCRIBE ME: Compassionate, Motivated, Enthusiastic
I TEACH BECAUSE: I know and understand what a regular practice has done for me. If I can lead students onto the same path of self discovery that I have found through yoga, it brings me a tremendous amount of joy. I have truly enjoyed watching some of my regular students step outside their comfort zone and discover what they are capable of with my support and encouragement.
TEACHING STYLE: Fun, nonjudgmental, uplifting, motivating with a focus on core strength.
TRAINING/CERTIFICATIONS: 200 RYT & training through the Baptiste Institute including: Being of Power, Art of Assisting & Baptiste Immersion
I PRACTICE BECAUSE: The movement, the heat, the sweat, my breath - when I am on my mat, I am strong, I am free, I am alive. The practice of power yoga truly unleashes my inner strength and power. The more I practice the more powerful I feel - on and off the mat.
THREE WORDS TO DESCRIBE ME: Truthful, affectionate, loyal
I TEACH BECAUSE: Through my own practice I learned and am learning to see me as I am and to accept where I am at. I want everyone to have this amazing feeling of freedom and discovery. By sharing my true self with the community I hope to encourage others to truly let their light shine.
TEACHING STYLE: I want to guide sessions for everyone to find their breath, their focus and their self through a sweaty power practice.
TRAINING/CERTIFICATIONS: 200hr Leadership & Yoga Training program @ 90NYoga
I PRACTICE BECAUSE: Initially I found yoga to be a great compliment to my exercise routine of cross country running, elliptical, and weight lifting. I developed tendonitis in my elbows from the weights and required hip surgery from the running. After physical therapy I discovered that a 60 minute power yoga practice 3-5 times a week gave me the same results. In addition, I have gained a more spiritual connection and have learned to use the yoga breathing techniques off my mat in everyday situations. Yoga has brought me great happiness and a sense of connection to my fellow yogis. Unlike other physical activities, there is no competition in yoga. Yoga is an ongoing practice where teacher/student are truly there for one another inspiring each other to be your best and accepting yourself as is.
THREE WORDS TO DESCRIBE ME: Dedicated, Positive, Energetic
I TEACH BECAUSE: Yoga has had such a positive influence on my life that I would like to share it with others. I hope my teaching will challenge experienced yogis to find a new edge/perspective as well as expose beginners who have an open mind to try something new. My goal is to communicate that yoga is for everyone and is not limited to a studio environment.
TEACHING STYLE: As a new teacher I am still developing my teaching style. However, my ultimate goal is to offer a practice that challenges your strength and endurance while offering freedom and flexibility to express yourself at your personal level.
TRAINING/CERTIFICATIONS: 200 hour RYT w/Laura Tropea,, Baptiste Institute Being of Power & Baptiste Immersion, Street Yoga w/Mark Lilly, Yin w/Lynne Baum
I PRACTICE BECAUSE:
Yoga is challenging both inside and out. The strength, endurance and focus of my practice continues to evolve. The practice of yoga is never complete which keeps me coming back for more. Yoga has provided me a level of confidence and inner strength that I never thought was possible.
I TEACH BECAUSE:
It's challenging, inspiring and rewarding. My ultimate goal is to make an impact on my students whenever, wherever and however yoga shows up in their life. Yoga can occur anywhere with many forms and modifications. I truly believe that anyone can do yoga. Regardless of their level of experience, I want my students to feel empowered, confident and comfortable with how yoga shows up on their mat each and every day.
Adaptable to all levels of practice. My classes are strong, sweaty and most of all, fun. Pace and flow of poses may vary according to what my students want or need. My intention is for students to feel the connections that they are making between their body, mind, breath and movement.
